Server Rules

Welcome to HurricaneMC! We strive to create a fair and enjoyable gaming environment for all players. To ensure the integrity of our community, we have established the following rules. By participating in our server, discord or anything connected with HurricaneMC, you agree to abide by these rules and our Terms and Service.

Information

  • Expectations of Behavior

    We encourage players to cooperate and compete in a positive environment, but never in a way that disrespects or abuses other players. In short: Be respectful to all players. These rules are in place to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all players.

  • Reporting Rule Breakers

    Reporting players helps us improve our reporting system and allow for a better quality game-play experience for our players. Reporting a player can be done by using contact form

  • Reporting Bugs

    Reporting bugs to our team allows us to fix and improve the game-play experience around the network. Please include as much information and detail as possible when reporting bugs so that our team is able to understand and resolve the issue. You can report bugs, exploits and issues on this contact form.

  • Account Security

    Players are responsible for their own accounts and personal information. Players also take full responsibility for any actions which may occur on their accounts. DO NOT share any of your account or personal information with anyone! Doing so can get your account terminated on the HurricaneMC Server(s).

Server, Forums, and Discord Rules

  1. Cheating, Exploiting, and Unauthorized Modifications:

    Use of cheats, hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software that gives an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

  2. Respectful Conduct:

    Players must maintain respectfulness. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or inappropriate language is allowed.

  3. Impersonation:

    Impersonating server staff, other players, or any individual, including celebrities, is not permitted.

  4. Spamming and Advertising:

    Spamming in any form, including chat, commands, as well as advertising other servers, websites, or commercial content, is not allowed.

  5. Building Guidelines:

    Players must adhere to the server's building guidelines. Offensive or inappropriate structures are strictly forbidden.

  6. Privacy and Personal Information:

    Respect privacy. Do not share personal information of yourself or others without consent.

  7. Scamming:

    Scamming, including in-game item fraud or real-life financial deceptions, is prohibited.

  8. Real-Life Threats:

    Threats of real-life harm, including DDoS attacks, violence, or any form of intimidation, harassing or blackmailing others, sharing personal information, or sending malicious links. are not tolerated. We take these threats very seourisly, and will involve law enforcement if you decide to do this.

  9. Staff Respect:

    Players should respect server staff and avoid backseat moderation or telling staff members how to do their jobs.
